TORONTO, Nov. 20, 2017 – Customers will now be able to use their Apple iPhone X on the most affordable mobile network in Canada thanks to K-Mobile and Kimcot Wireless.

Apple just released its 10th anniversary phone on November 3, which includes advanced camera features, facial recognition, augmented reality capabilities as well as a superior processing system.

The latest in the company’s smartphone line, the iPhone X includes:

  • 4 efficiency cores in the CPU, which run 70 per cent faster than A10 Fusion
  • 2 performance cores that are 25 per cent faster
  • A 3 core graphics processing unit, which is 30 percent faster than A10 Fusion
  • 8 screen
  • Super Retina display that uses OLED to make colours pop off the screen, giving deeper blacks and a million to one contrast ratio
  • Apple has incorporated edge to edge display for a futuristic phone appearance
  • The body is made of surgical-grade stainless steel

  • A11 Bionic, a powerful chip that has a neural engine, equipping the phone to run 600 billion operations per second.
  • Longer lasting battery than the iPhone 7

One of the most talked about features of this newest addition to the Apple family is the facial recognition feature. Face ID has the ability to adapt to a user’s facial changes over time. It does this through an advanced mapping system that utilizes over 30,000 dots to define and recognize faces. It acts like a fingerprint and can be used to unlock the phone, make Apple Pay purchases, or access the App Store.

The company has also done away with the familiar home button and relies more on touch and gestures. A single swipe allows the user to access the home menu while a swipe and hold will give access to the App Switcher. Apple has included a Tap to Wake feature as well as easy activation for Siri.

Users will also enjoy added features to the camera system that add some entertainment to photos. The phone comes with a 12 MP rear camera and 7 MP front facing camera. It has a stellar optical zoom for the wide-angle and telephoto lens. This enables the phone to get 10x closer for photos and 6x closer for videos. The phone also has an optical image stabilizer as well as TrueDepth, which allows users to capture Portrait photos, perform AR tricks and do 3D mapping. A just-for-fun feature also allows users to create and send personalized Animoji in messages that can make communicating more interesting.

Customers can now take advantage of this latest smartphone from Apple on Kimcot Wireless or K-Mobile expanding network.
